Melamine, commonly known as melamine, is a white monoclinic crystal that is almost tasteless. Its chemical formula was described as CHN and its molecular weight was 126.12. It is stable at room temperature, melting point is higher than 300ºC, slightly soluble in water, but high solubility in hot water.
